ETHICS AND FREE WILL

Free will is the ability of agents to make choices unimpeded.

In the text we can find two examples:

One of them is Sally when she is driving her car at thew speed limit while she's sending text messages with someone on her mobile phone. she doesn't see the cross walk and she runs over a child. In that case, Sally would feel guilty because it was his fault.

The second example is Jane, that is driving very fast, and suddenly, a child runs above the car. In that case, Jane wouldn't feel guilty because it wasn't his fault, but she would feel badly.

Origin of pleasure

Paul Bloom taught about the different types of pleasure. He said  that pleasure wasn't a natural thing because it depends for the different happines what you have. For example: if you're drinking wine from a glass bottle, it will taste better than if you drink the same wine but it on a tetrabrik. Pleasure has some artificial ingredients, which depend if you've is fake or not (in this case the wine).
